So I’ve made it almost halfway through my 100-day dress challenge, I’m at day 45 out of 100 days of wearing the lovely Mara from the Wool& company. She is called a sweatshirt dress but is also called a sheath dress as it does not have any sort of swing to her. I love her and when I put her on it’s like wearing an old friend.
I also managed to record the latest episode of my podcast LBD for 100 Days. This makes 11 episodes under my belt. What I’ve discovered about this dress challenge journey is a couple of things: I spend a lot of money on clothes without even realizing it. I also spend a lot on shoes but have finally curbed my purse shopping. I love to buy a lot of something that I love. So, if I love something, I will buy it in multiple colors and multiples of black.
Much like a lot of people who suffer from alcohol or drug addiction, I struggle with the high I get from shopping and unwrapping boxes of my purchases. It is a high like no other. But it is not debilitating because I can return things and not lose out on all my money. But parting with the things once they hit my closet – much harder! So far, I’ve only gotten rid of 6 bags of clothing to Goodwill.
I have a three-day weekend because of working so many hours, so I’ve promised myself that I will log some time trying to finish Fractured Heart. I’m on the fence about keeping it in Kindle Unlimited, I may just launch it on all platforms. I really struggle with it. Book Marketing is definitely not my forte!
